On Monday, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced the upcoming construction of a police station in Banbhulpura, Haldwani, where an illegal madrasa was demolished last week. Dhami emphasized that this initiative aims to convey a “clear message” to those involved in the violence during the demolition drive.
Speaking at an event today, Dhami stated, “We are establishing a police station at the site where illegal encroachments were cleared in Banbhulpura, Haldwani. This decision sends a resolute message from our government to troublemakers and instigators that no one disrupting peace will be exempted. Uttarakhand maintains zero tolerance for such disturbances.”
Dhami highlighted the reclamation of several acres of land from encroachment during the demolition drive in the ‘Malik Ka Bagicha’ area of Banbhulpura.
