Kuari Pass Trek, located in the Garhwal Himalayas, is a popular beginner-level trek. It offers stunning views of India’s highest mountains, dense forests filled with oaks and rhododendrons, and meadows. The trek involves passing through remote villages, and dense forests, and spotting Himalayan animals and rare species of birds. The base camp of the trek is Joshimath, a picturesque town surrounded by high Himalayan peaks and ancient holy sites. Trek is moderate and can be done comfortably by carrying a backpack not exceeding 10-12 kg. Stay at Tapoban and Joshimath/Auli will be in a lodge, and the trekker should not leave behind any waste. It is mandatory to carry a copy of your photo ID, medical certificate, and disclaimer form. The temperature ranges from -3°C to -15°C in winter and from 8°C to 15°C in summer. GPX files are provided for safe navigation, and the cost of transport will be borne by trekkers.
