Day 1 :
Drive from Kathgodam to Munsiyari
Distance - 277 km Time Took - 8 hours
Day 2 :
Trek from Munsiyari to Milam Village
Highlights: 7km Hike, Milam's Local Life Prepare for your first trekking adventure in the area after breakfast in the guesthouse. The trail turns onto a wide route as you pass through the busy market. You may reach Milam, the winter residence of the nearby villages, after a rather simple trek lasting around 4-5 hours with a steady drop. Learn about the villagers' customary summertime migration as well as their cultures, traditions, and cuisine while spending the night in Milam.
Day 3 :
Trek from Milam to Bogudiar
Highlights: Confluence of the Poting and Gori Ganga Rivers; 12-kilometer trek. Details: The trail you'll be taking today, though it's a lengthy one, will take you through a thick Utis tree forest, which is typical of the subtropical Himalayas. Day 4 :
Trek from Bogudiar to Railkot
Attractions include a 12-mile trek, the breathtaking Trans-Himalayas, Nanda Kot Glacier, and Railkot Ruins. The 12 km journey today will take you into the authentic Trans Himalayan landscape. When the path makes a diversion to avoid Laspa Village, soak in the scenery's natural splendor. The well-traveled Pindari Glacier trekking route is located further north, halfway between the Nanda Kot and Nanda Devi mountain ranges. Make your way to Railkot Village, which is located above the Alaknanda River, and settle into a tent by the water. See the ruins in and around Railkot during the day, then retire to your tent for the night.
Day 5 :
Trek from Railkot to Ghangha
Attractions include a 13-kilometer trek, the Pachu Valley, alpine meadows, and Jauhar homes. Start the day with a delectable breakfast and travel across the Trans Himalayan region's typical scenery. As you make your way to the historic Ghanghar settlement, stroll across bright meadows while breathing in the refreshing mountain air. Enter the Pachu Valley region to reach the Nanda Devi Base Camp at the Ghanghar hamlet, which is located at a height of 3,300 meters. The Johar tribe established their winter homes in this wonderful village. You can stay the night in the hamlet and do a quick local exploring tour.
Day 6 :
Trek from Ghanghar to Pachu Glacier
7km Hike, Breathtaking Nanda Devi, Rhododendron Woods, and Pachu Glacier are some of the highlights. Details: Set out on a trail that will take you to the Pachu Glacier in around 5 hours after breakfast in the Ghanghar camp. Day 8 :
Trek to Pachu Glacier to Martoli
Attractions include a 17-km trek, the historic Indo-Tibetan trade route, and village life. Start the day with a downhill journey in the direction of the historic trade route along the Indo-Tibet border. As you continue on the trail, you'll reach Martoli, a picturesque village full of simple buildings with magnificent woodwork carvings. Experience the mesmerizing views of Nanda Devi and Nanda Kot from the village before spending the night in a home there.
Day 9 :
Trek from Martoli to Rargari
Highlights: Gentle and downhill 20 km trek Today's descent will be less strenuous, and along the route, you can see the untainted landscape and the fantastical beauty of the mountains and valleys. Once in Rargari, settle into a local hut and call it a day.
Day 10 :
Trek from Rargari to Munsyar
Features: 14-kilometer trek; jeep ride Starting with today's journey, you will go around 14 kilometers before reaching Chaukori. After an exciting jeep trip from Chaukori, you will arrive at Munsyari, where you will spend the night in a guesthouse or tent.
