Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had a meeting with the disaster management department on Wednesday, Dhami said Uttarakhand is one of the disaster-sensitive states, and the coming three months would going to be changing for the administration. CM said there would be no leaves for state officers during monsoon season. Leaves were only allowed under specific conditions.
He also mentions that disaster management should be on alert and immediate response in case of any emergency. Officers also prepare proposals for increasing compensation for dying in road accidents. The CM also said to give importance to Char Dham Yatra and Kanwar Yatra along with disaster management. He asked the officers to prepare food items, satellite phones, medicines, commodities, JCB machines, and all the mandatory first-aid for disaster-sensitive areas. In case the primary facilities or supply is disturbed because of heavy rain or landslides so, the supplied items should be restored at the nearest time. We should prepare ourselves and respond at a time.
