Make arrangements for transport, parking, healthcare, sanitization, and other basic amenities for devotees.
MNA Dayanand Saraswati said that the administration is facing a shortage of funds, but they will do their best and gear up the district for Kanwar Mela. He also mentions that 200 more toilets and 600 sanitary helpers are hired. The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) said that leaves are only allowed in case of emergency otherwise there are no leaves for employees at primary health centers and community health centers during Kanwar Mela. All district and government hospitals will provide health care services to Kanwariyas, and temporary health camps will be organized at 28 places to increase the health care facilities.

Instead, they will operate from four temporary bus stands in four different directions-Rishikul grounds, Motichur, Chandighat, and Bairagi camp. The district magistrate has banned the sale of all kinds of sticks, baseball bats, and tridents. They will not be allowed to open meat shops on the Kwanar Yartra path.

The Dm said this is not only the administration’s responsibility alone; the public is also responsible for making this yatra successful. He also instructed everyone to ready or repair their CCTV cameras before the Kanwar yatra started. During the investigation, if anyone’s CCTV camera is found defective or does not have a memory of more than 15 days, then the administration will take strict action against them.
