Uttarakhand govt. has postponed for reopening of colleges as the COVID 19 cases are still on the rise.
‘The colleges are likely to reopen in december, decided after a long cabinet discussion held’ said Madan Kaushik, Cabinet Minister.
Present scenario:
The state has about 4417 active cases, 64,032 people have already recovered, as per MoHFW.

Health Secy. of the state Amit Negi has directed the District Magistrates of all the 13 districts to ensure that the COVID 19 tests are conducted for the teachers in schools., the furtherance of which the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) has also been issued by the Education Department regarding the case.
People have also been cautioned by the health secretary as the virus is more likely to spread further during winters.
