Itinerary

Check-in at a hotel or guesthouse at Sari and rest

Start the trek from Sari to Deoria Tal, which is a beautiful lake located about 12 km from Ukhimath.

The trek is about 2.5 km and takes about 2-3 hours to complete.

Enjoy the scenic beauty of the lake and the surrounding mountains.

Start the trek from Deoria Tal to Chopta, which is the base camp of the Tungnath trek and takes about 14 km to cover.

The trek takes about 6-7 hours to complete and is moderately difficult.

Enjoy the magnificent view of Mount Chaukhamba looming into the pristine Deoria Tal Lake during the trek.

Start the trek from Chopta to Tungnath, which is a simple yet adventurous trek of 5 km.

Visit the famous Tungnath Temple, which is one of the highest Shiva temples in the world.

Trek back to Chopta and spend the night at the base camp.

Day 5 :
Departure

Depart from Chopta and head back to Rishikesh, which takes about 7-8 hours.

Reach Rishikesh by evening and take your onward journey.
